Nick Thompson is a Certified Reflexologist in Washington state. Reflexology aims to return the body to homeostasis, supporting optimal health and wellness.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy dating back to ancient times. It supports the idea that there are reflex areas on the feet, hands and ears that create a miniature map corresponding to every organ, gland and part of the body. Applying specific pressure and techniques to these reflexive areas restores balance to the body, often providing relief from pain and discomfort.
Reflexology initiates a chain reaction that ultimately allows more oxygen and nutrients to be available to the most basic building blocks — our cells. It is here, in a deep state of relaxation and restoration, that the body can heal and repair itself during the session and in the days that follow.
About Nick Born and raised in Minnesota, Nick grew up fishing, hunting, and camping. After a twelve-year career as a carpenter he felt and knew a shift was on the horizon. After venturing west to explore and visit family, he fell in love with the Cascades. Soon after deciding to stay, he attended school to become a Certified Reflexologist. It was a great starting point into a new and exciting field, helping fuel a passion and deep appreciation for the human body. He is currently enrolled at Bellevue Massage School to become a licensed massage practitioner, another stepping stone to further his knowledge and skills to help people on their path to wellness and good health. When he’s not in class or at work, he can be found hiking, climbing or biking.
